Dennis Bridges has been in practice as a CPA in Atlanta for over 25 years. His primary specialties are tax planning and preparation for small businesses and individuals with complex financial issues. He also concentrates very heavily in assisting taxpayers with either minor or severe IRS difficulties.

“We try to think outside the box, both in our tax-cutting efforts, as well as in pursuing creative solutions to severe IRS problems.”

His favorite part of the tax preparation process is in finding perfectly legal deductions that have been previously overlooked. When asked what separates him and his firm from other CPA firms, he says with a smile, “It’s quite simple, actually: we don’t just ‘do’ your taxes, we CUT them!”

Bridges tells of story after story in which clients originally had their returns prepared at one of the “franchise” preparers before coming to see him. “In just one recent case, a taxpayer was filing five years of returns. Based on the returns done by the initial preparer, this individual owed over $42,000 for the five years together. Just by taking the deductions allowed by law, we were able to cut his tax bill to $14,000. He loved us for that, and that’s really what it’s all about at the end of the day.”

Dennis Bridges, CPA is the author of the Ultimate Tax Relief Toolkit, which he is currently revising for a 3rd edition. He is also a co-author of the Amazon Bestseller,Breaking the Tax Code, 2nd Ed. He and his wife Robin live in Marietta. They have two daughters, Katherine and Kimberly
